Good morning (or afternoon). Sadly (or gladly) I just woke up, because I stayed out all night on Friday, not at a party, but at my school for a nerdy-heaven overnight reading of Crime and Punishment, and consequently I am still catching up on my sleep. Anyway, a few weeks ago, my mom took out this old juicer we had in our closet and decided that we should start using it, so I’ve been testing it out by throwing in any fruit or vegetable I could find in the house. This has produced a lot of unpleasant concoctions that I drank anyway, not wanting to waste all of the ingredients, but finally, I came up with one that was just plain good (and really healthy too!) Here it is.
This recipe makes two big glasses of juice, or about four small ones.
Also, drink it cold, or stir in a few ice cubes.
½ of a cucumber
1 baby orange *peel it or the peel turns your juice bitter/sour
1 quarter sized chunk of ginger
